Founding Trustees

The Late Siddharth Shriram
A BA in English from St. Stephens College, Delhi University and a Masters in Management Science from MIT (USA), Siddharth comes from a privileged background of family enterprises. However, the truly abiding contributions come from his family's philanthropy to society in great social works. He has taken that forward in meaningful ways and the CWT is one manifestation of that. A keen golfer, Siddharth also writes on golf and echoes Tiger Woods's comments on the virtues of caddy ship.

Billy Bedi
Maj (Retd) RS Bedi VrC was commissioned into the Indian Army in 1963. He participated in both the 1965 and 1971 wars and was awarded the Vir Chakra in the 1965 war for gallantry. His services were transferred to the Central Government where he served the next 33 years retiring as a Secretary to the Government in 2006. An avid golfer, he has been involved in the management of the Delhi Golf Club having served on the Club's General Committee for 3 years. Caddies welfare has been of special interest to him; it is due to his initiative that led to the formation of the Caddies Welfare Trust.

Gaby Juneja
After completing her education in the United Kingdom, Gaby spent 10 years working in the field of advertising and public relations. It was only after her marriage to a 'besotted' golfer she took up the game and went on to become Lady Captain of the Delhi Golf Club. Her association with golf has continued across all aspects of the game. Recognising the dire need of doing something for the caddy community, who eke out a daily wage (very often not even managing that), Gaby is strongly committed to the Trust and its initiatives.
A passionate photographer Gaby is proud to have co-authored a coffee table book on the Delhi Golf Club ‘The Lodhi & the Peacock’.
